Interview on Capt. Cacophony's Cosmic Cadaver

About a year ago I did an interview on the insanely awesome show Capt. Cacophony's Cosmic Cadaver hosted by the infamous James Powell and presented by Magic Monster X. James is an awesome guy. Probably has the most keyboards out of anyone I know (I bet he's around 30 now). With both of us playing bass we first struck a great repport. You wouldn't think it - he being in a gothic band and me being a hip hop cat, but we struck a chord with gear and same tastes in music of crazy genres going in depth as crust metal. The interview focused mostly around the MPC 2000xl, the main drum machine I was using at the time, along with my music and how the MPC series separates itself from other gear.

I also got to feature a couple tracks -  All These Gifts and an unreleased track called M02. M02 incorporated samples from Warner Bros cartoons. Most drum sequences and loops you hear on this interview were all sampled from WB haha. Anyway enjoy that is if you can get around the hardcore delays

Marc Hirsch Extrordinaaaare

The distinguished artist that graciously let me use one of his works for the cover of my first EP is also my good friend. Marc Hirsch paints shit that you cannot dream about. He conjures some original pieces that adjectives such as gothic, dark, deep dont give justice at all. Also, I'm a pretty horrible writer so eat my ass. Not most, but some of his work reminds of a gaping abyss, wondering if there is light at the end, but no, only more abyss, more dark. Maybe that's what some people need - dark at the end of the tunnel. The work takes you into this endless abyss and you have no clue what made you think of that and find yourself standing (or sitting in my case) there wondering why a guy like Marc Hirsch made you think these things.... Fucking Prick. At least during my abyss sequence I conjured some shiny, translucent, telepathic aliens flying out and a nekked Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio somehow falls right into my arms and somehow I perform mouth to mouth resuscitation on her hehe. Shit, I'll settle for Michel Biehn popping out as well to find some better acting roles. ANYWAY, either the esteemed staff of Otis did something right or all those nights completely faded, drinking dark ales and arguing about politics, movies and video games paid off.
